hi, i'm vicky! i was born and raised in san francisco to an asian immigrant family. i remain based in the sf bay area to pursue a phd in genetics, but i had just previously lived in san diego for my undergraduate degree. outside of work, i love music and food.

i enjoy going to any live concerts! i had recently seen coldplay at the stanford stadium, as well as dabin at the frost amphitheater. some of my favorite concerts i have been to are glass animals (gorge), duckwrth (music box sd), isoknock (sd), and childish gambino (barclays ny).

i also love baking and trying new foods at restaurants and cafes. some of my favorites and proud accomplishments from my covid baking spree are milkbread and croissants. at home, i also enjoy making v60 pourovers and matchas. my favorite places for food and drinks are jane the bakery (sf), volcano curry (sf), and camellia rd tea bar (sd).
